  1. Aren’t we going to get a post on firing up the Aga after the summer shutdown? It’s October!

    • We finally fired up the AGA at the end of September when the Great Sweat of 2014 ended and the temperatures dropped into the lower 80’s. We have enjoyed having it back in service!

      • Do you give yours a cleaning while it’s shut down? And if so, what do you use on the oven interiors?

        Or do you just bring in a pro to do it?

      • I just vacuum out the ovens and thoroughly clean enameled surfaces with AGA Enameled Surface Cleaner. I hit the chrome domes with Wenol or AGA Chrome surface cleaner.
