Fried eggs

We had breakfast for supper the other night – the menu: Egg, bacon, grits and toast. Here is how we prepared things:

Eggs, fried – preheat nonstick skillet on the floor of the roasting oven. Pull out, spray cooking spray, crack eggs into pan, place pan back onto the floor of the roasting oven for 4-7 minutes depending on desired runny-ness. No flipping need so technically this was sunny side up.

Bacon – place on baking tray and slide onto 1st runners (top set) of the roasting oven. 5 minutes or so. You can over-crisp bacon so you will want to check on it. Once you figure out the time needed to reach desired doneness you will have one-touch bacon – in and out.

Grits – boil water on boiling plate, add grits and return to boil (30 sec) and place in the simmer oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, stir and serve.
